The organisation has a well respect BI & DW division that delivers high quality reporting services to business users. A newly created role for a Technical Lead for this successful BI & DW team has been created.
As the technical lead you will be responsible for ensuring quality solutions are designed, developed and delivered to the business.
You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:-
- Implementing enterprise data warehouse model changes
- Approving all data warehouse change requests
- Contribute to architecture changes
- Provide guidance and documentation templates for design and development
- provide technical direction developing BI reports
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
- Continually seek to improve standards, processes and efficiencies
- Support Operations and support the business to understand and use its data
To be successful in this role you will have:-
- Tertiary qualification in computer science or related
- 8 years experience in BI & DW industry
- Excellent technical skills across multi-platforms (Hyperion, Cognos etc)
- Solid ETL and SQL skills
- Experience working Teradata in enterprise wide environment
- Experience mentoring and team leading BI developers
- Ability to engage business users and technical developers
